Using VPN for outgoing requests

We would like to make requests from Node app deployed on Railway to another external API that is available only via VPN. In other words, that external API is staging environment, hosted internally at the company but the Node app consuming it, is hosted publicly on Railway.

Is it possible to achieve this setup with Railway?

Yes but you'd have to use a third party service, like a Tailscale.
