Variables lost on every redeployment in a project

To clean the space, I removed the failed deployment for redeployment, But, I realized that doing so also wiped out the variables. Given that these variables are manually added and injected into the application during runtime. They should be independent of deployment and persistent until the project is deleted.

You should be adding variables through the UI, or through the Public API.

Thanks for your reply. I don't experience with the issue now at the moment. I will keep my eyes on it.
