On several projects that I have on Railway I've started noticing VERY slow response time from my servers.
I have a nodejs express app, even on the login page, which is a simple html response from the server. it take about 40sec. to load…
I've added logs to the server (response-time package), and I see that the server is processing the request in 38ms….
I don't know where and why Railway is slowing down my requests
I've used https://tools.pingdom.com/ to test my web app, and it was loading it 58 sec, which is crazy!
Need help with this ASAP as my web apps are not usable like this at all.
Thanks

I keep testing this, and I noticed that when the database is involved in the request it's slow. and when it's just a static response it's fast.
There are peaks of slowness with the database connection, some times it's slow and sometimes it's fast…
Feels like a hobby account that the account goes to sleep after a min. of no usage and the service needs to warm up or something like that
i had the same issue a few days ago and it was wide issue mentioned here https://status.railway.com/cmc6xto9x000lqosffho36pqo
it took around 12 hours to appear on the status page.
hopefully it will be handled faster now
I'm seeing the same issue on my MySQL instance.
This is definitely a problem related to disk I/O
I'm trying to connect to the database via the public url and it's stuck forever…
How can we raise this to Railway support?
So far, no response from anyone from the Railway team…
