Update: the wildcard now shows "Failed to issue TLS certificate — An internal error occurred" after several hours. Meanwhile vigiaehs.mx and app.vigiaehs.mx on the same service both issued without any problem, with identical DNS setup in the same Cloudflare zone. DNS records for the wildcard have been stable and unchanged for hours.

Your wildcard domain's certificate is failing because your DNS provider (Cloudflare) is serving stale challenge values at the _acme-challenge record instead of following the CNAME delegation to read the current tokens. The certificate authority reads those outdated values, rejects every attempt, and re-issuing will fail identically until this is cleared. To fix it, delete the _acme-challenge CNAME record in Cloudflare, wait a moment, then recreate it using the value shown in your Railway dashboard. If Cloudflare keeps serving the old values after that, contact Cloudflare support and ask them to purge the cached TXT records for that name.
