Hi,
I'm running a small internal time-tracking app (Node.js + SQLite) on the Hobby plan, with a persistent volume for the database. It's a business-critical app, so I have two questions:
Volume backups — Does the Hobby plan include automatic backups/snapshots of the persistent volume? If so, how do I enable them and how can I restore from a backup if needed? If not, what do you recommend for backing up volume data?
Cold starts — On the Hobby plan, does my service stay always-on, or does it go to sleep after inactivity? I've noticed slow first loads after idle periods and I'd like to avoid that for daily use.
Thanks in advance.

Volume backups (manual, scheduled, and restore) require the Pro plan ($20/month) and are not available on Hobby. For a business-critical SQLite database on Hobby, we recommend implementing your own backup strategy, such as periodically copying the database file to an external store like S3. On the cold-starts question, Serverless (formerly App Sleeping) is opt-in on Hobby, not forced, so your service stays always-on by default. If you have it enabled, you can disable it under the service's Settings > Deploy section, and redeploy for the change to take effect.
