i cannot seem to find the setting for volume backups, where exactly is it?
Open the service and click on the backups tab

Also, what is meant by Pro users and above can self-serve to increase their volume up to 250 GB? Does it mean I have to manually scale the volume if >50gb?
If you need more than the default size of 50GB yes you would have to grow the volume yourself.

Are there any plans for hourly backups?
We have talked about it, and there's a decent chance we will do it, but that will come after our full transition to metal.

so you just want high frequency backups incase you or someone deleted or messed up the data so that you have a sooner point in time to go back to?
