i was trying to restore a backup to a new database to find some data and all of my volumes seem to have dissapeared, the data and the DB keeps crashing

i was able to restore the latest volume, how do i restore a backup somewhere. the original db was creatd with postgres 16, but the new one is 18.
i need to restore partial data and can't figure out how to get that working
nevermind, figured it all out. was able to start a new posgtres 16 instance
