Hello,

We’re currently experiencing an issue with our storage capacity. Our service (n8n) has exceeded the available limit on the Hobby plan, which provides up to 5GB of storage. At the moment, we need at least 10GB.

Our question is: if we temporarily upgrade to a higher plan to increase storage and clean up unnecessary data, would it be possible to downgrade back to the Hobby plan afterward and continue running the service without issues?

Thank you for your assistance.

The Hobby plan limits volume storage to 5GB, and the Pro plan allows up to 50GB. However, volume downsizing is not supported, so if you resize the volume beyond 5GB on Pro, you will not be able to shrink it back to 5GB after downgrading to Hobby. If you can clean up data without resizing the volume (for example, by deleting files through n8n's interface while the volume remains at 5GB), you could stay within the Hobby limit after downgrading. Otherwise, you would need to remain on Pro to keep a volume larger than 5GB.
