When creating an empty service (or any service), I being forced into a "metal" deployment region. Then when attempting to mount a volume, the volume is supposed to automatically follow the associated service region, but it always changes to the opposite!
When I begin with a nonmetal region (US West, Oregon), and then I mount my volume in Oregon, the volume keeps switching US West, California, which is metal.
When I begin with metal service region, in California, before mounting my drive in California, then my service region changes back to Oregon!
I have tried this every way I can! I've even deployed them simultaneously! Am I crazy or does this have anything to do with a new rollout?

Hello, do you have the "Metal Volumes" feature flag enabled - https://railway.com/account/feature-flags, it should allow you to use metal volumes. If this is still not resolve, could you please let me know the exact reproduction steps (a vid of the regions being moved / swapped around) would be really helpful!
