Hello,
I'm trying to add a custom domain to my project but it's been stuck on "Waiting for DNS update" for over 24 hours.
Here are the details:
- Project: plume-et-regard
- Custom domain: plume-et-regard.fr
- CNAME target provided by Railway: btgcxxbk.up.railway.app
- TXT record: railway-verify=3aa07ceb37274d1f6e021b6a2b3b6ff0f5f81030c113094283b3bfe5d555774c
Both records are correctly configured and fully propagated (verified via dnschecker.org). The TXT record is set on @ and the CNAME was previously set on www.
I have tried removing and re-adding the domain multiple times, both as www.plume-et-regard.fr and plume-et-regard.fr, but the status never changes from "Waiting for DNS update".
Could you please check what's blocking the verification?

try to remove the domain from railway, add it again once then copy the fresh CNAME and fresh TXT generated by new entry and set them on the same host railway is validating , then wait for propagation and refresh verification.

can you share the ss, showing the exact config provided by railway, and then the one which you added in your DNS provider?

Thanks for the suggestion. I've already tried removing and re-adding the domain multiple times with fresh CNAME and TXT records each time, but the status stays on "Waiting for DNS update" every time. DNS propagation is confirmed via dnschecker.org.

I don't see the value provided by Railway anywhere in the DNS records you added.
Railway has given CNAME @ value, which you need to add as it is. But i can only CNAME www record in your dns records. Same for txt one, I can't find the same one provided by Railway in DNS records.
Note - if your dns provider doesn't support CNAME flattening, you can use cloudfare's free dns services.
Using Cloudfare with Railway is even recommended. Let me know if you need any help setting up that.
But before that would recommend trying adding the CNAME and the value as it is in ionos, and if you face any issue in doing so, please share the ss.
