I see that Railway still defaults to bitnami/redis on latest, for now its fine as Redis will only change its license on 7.4 but what Railway is thinking on doing after that?
I see that the most compatible version with Redis seems to be Valkey maintained by the Linux Foundation. Is it possible to make that default or there are better options?
As a middle-term it might be good to pin the Redis version to 7.2 as pre-caution.

As Jake Cooper has said, running Redis on Railway is fine, as they do not offer managed Redis, management stops at the container level.

^ yup. Redis' license change applies only to managed services where you're offering "Redis as a service" commercially. We do not offer managed Redis in that sense.
