it says 24gb but in pro i only get 8GB

On Pro, 8 vCPU / 8 GB is the default sandbox size, not the maximum. You can request up to 32 vCPU / 32 GB per sandbox by passing the resources field (cpu and memoryGB) on the sandboxCreate API mutation when you create it, as covered in the sandbox size docs. Sandboxes are billed for memory and CPU actually in use, not the size ceiling.
