Just received our first usage invoice after an initial payment of $20 to get on pro plan. We are not in production with our application and are 100% on metal, I have been adding our team members since paying the initial $20. The invoice shows the usage, and then a stream of charges and credits which seem to match up with when I added a new team member.
Shouldn't the costs just be for the usage + the $20 base cost for Pro, and all of my seats are reduced to $0 as I'm on metal?

Hey, is it your first invoice? "Unused time" probably means that you subscribed on, for example, May fourth, and thus the three days you weren't subscribed are given to you as a discount. And yes, if you're on the Pro plan with the new Metal pricing, you'll only be charged for the initial $20 (which is given to you as a discount on usage) plus any usage past those $20.

First invoice with usage, yes. Second invoice overall, first one was just the $20 payment for pro plan.
If it's usage billing, why would there be charges for any form of "time" ?

I think this is worth raising to the team, this sort of arbitrary math doesn’t make any sense without an explanation
