Hi Railway team — our team “primary” has been banned (ToS Violation) and we instantly lost access to multiple active production projects and managed databases.

This has caused a major outage and we’re receiving customer complaints right now.

Hi there

I believe you were the casino company yes?

We got a non-consensual explicit report that we acted on immeidately when we got it

I can unban, but UGC porn without sufficient moderation on your end opens Railway to undue liability.

Thanks for the context — we understand why you had to act quickly.
We were not aware of any non-consensual explicit/UGC content being hosted. It’s possible a team member deployed or left enabled functionality that allowed this without proper moderation/controls.

We take responsibility and will implement immediate actions:

Remove/disable anything related to porn/explicit content across all services

Disable UGC uploads and remove related routes/storage

Add internal controls (reviewed deploy process, audit, and moderation safeguards) to prevent recurrence

Could you please unban the team (or grant temporary access / read-only DB access / snapshot export) so we can restore production and recover our database data? We can share a checklist of changes as soon as access is restored.

Sure thing

Our customers have experienced too many access issues. Can we take action as soon as possible?
