Hi Everyone, I have deployed a python server on railway. In my application I am calling an external api (let's assume an api to get latest news) from a third party. I can see that whenever I am calling this API my network logs show rise in egress. Will this increase my costing ?

Hello,
Yes, it will, because we do charge for egress.

Is there a way to cut down network egress cost here, because this is a pretty generic usecase where my code needs to call an external paid API for a particular information that I cannot implement on my own.

Might not be the answer you are looking for, but realistically, you cut down on egress by sending less data. That could mean using compression.
