With Railpack now the default builder, Nixpacks was flagged with a "deprecated" label; So I was wondering if the plan is to eventually not offer it as an option?
For context, I have a Laravel website and Railpack forces the use of FrankenPHP + Caddy. While those are working and slightly improved the website speed, it comes with a decently higher memory usage as a tradeoff. For my particular site I am still evaluating if that cost is worth the slight speed increase.
In contrast, Nixpacks uses PHP-FPM + NGINX.

If you’re worried about cost, building your own Dockerfile is almost always the correct play. When relying on automated solutions such as Nixpacks or Railpack you don’t have much control
I'll definitely look into that! Always fun learning a new thing 🙂
I'd just like to know if I should make it a top priority, or if Nixpacks will be around for at least a few months heh

Yes eventually we will completely remove nixpacks, but it will be around for far more than a few months, so nothing to rush into at all
