Hello Railway Support Team,
I have been using my GitHub account to log in to Railway. I would now like to switch to an email and password-based login.
Additionally, I would like to understand whether Railway supports managing multiple accounts and switching between them to access and manage different projects.
Could you please advise on the following?
Is it possible to switch my existing Railway account from GitHub authentication to email and password authentication without losing my existing projects or configurations?
Does Railway support multiple accounts, and if so, what is the recommended way to switch between accounts and manage their respective projects?
Please let me know the steps I need to follow and any limitations I should be aware of.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Santosh

We don't offer password-based login. Sign-in goes through external providers (GitHub, Google) or email login, where we send you a one-time code instead of asking for a password. Support can't change which login method your account uses or set one up for you, because that protection sits with the providers. Your account email can be changed under Account Settings. Your projects belong to your account, not to the way you sign in.
We allow one account per person, and we enforce this through email, GitHub and payment method checks, so running several accounts and switching between them isn't supported. To keep different sets of projects apart, use workspaces. One account can be a member of several workspaces, and you pick which one you're working in from the dashboard.
