Good afternoon,
I do have an issue with my domain provider - those guys does not support CNAME for main domain configuration (e.g. site.com). Subdomains - no problems, domain - somehow not covered.
Is there any workaround to make it work with other type of records? I do understand that static IPv4 is not a thing in case of Railway, but maybe some other solutions exist.
I'd rather not move from that obscure domain provider 'cause a lot of other stuff is placed there so right not I'm lurking for a solution on Railway' side.
Thank you in advance.

A common approach for DNS providers that do not support CNAME Flattening or ALIAS records is to change your domain's nameservers to point to Cloudflare's nameservers and use their CNAME flattening feature. Here's a guide from the Railway Docs on public networking with Cloudflare that might help.

Yep, thank you - I saw this approach in your documentation. I'mm afraid that this is not an option for my dns provider. Any additional ideas?

You will need to use a DNS provider that support CNAME flattening to achieve what you're looking to do here. If your concern is related to other records configured with your current DNS provider, Cloudflare will import your existing records automatically.
