Workspace restricted: cannot create new resources

Hello Railway team,

My Hobby workspace is currently restricted and the dashboard shows: "Your workspace has been restricted. You cannot create new resources."

Billing appears active on the Hobby plan, a card is attached, and the latest invoices show $0.00.

I reviewed the workspace and removed the experimental networking/proxy testing project that may have caused the restriction. I do not intend to use Railway for proxying, scraping, challenge bypassing, or abusive outbound traffic. I will keep these kinds of workloads off Railway going forward and can make any further changes you require.

Could you please review whether the restriction can be lifted, or advise the remediation/offboarding steps if it cannot be restored?

We appreciate you reaching out about this, and we understand this isn't the answer you're hoping for. Unfortunately, we aren't able to share the specifics behind why a workspace is restricted, and for paid-plan workspaces the restriction cannot be reversed. The next step would be to cancel your plan from your workspace billing settings to stop future charges. We're sorry we can't be of more help here.
