Hello,
My workspace was restricted with the reason "ToS Violation." I'd like to request a review, as I believe this may be a misunderstanding.
I noticed this restriction occurred shortly after I upgraded my workspace to the Hobby plan, so I suspect it may be related to an automated review triggered by the plan change rather than any intentional misuse.
The services in this workspace are personal, non-commercial automation projects — for example, checking seat availability on a movie ticketing site and monitoring a news feed for personal notifications. They are low-volume and not intended for scraping at scale, reselling data, or disrupting any third-party service.
I understand that one of the services, FlareSolverr, may have triggered this flag, as it can be associated with bypassing anti-bot protections. I was using it for a personal script and did not intend to violate any third-party terms of service. To resolve this, I'm willing to remove FlareSolverr from the workspace and add proper rate limiting to the remaining services to ensure they operate respectfully.
Could you please review my workspace and let me know what additional steps are needed to restore access? Thank you for your time.
Best regards,

Your workspace is currently restricted, and unfortunately we aren't able to share the specific details behind the restriction. There is no action on your side that will lift it, and we're not able to offer access to the workspace or its data while the restriction is in place.

I've removed the cgv-seat-monitor service, which I believe may have triggered the flag due to its automated site-checking behavior. Could you please take another look and let me know if the workspace can be reinstated? I'm happy to make further changes if there's anything else that needs to be addressed. Thank you for your help.

We appreciate you making those changes, but removing individual services does not affect the workspace restriction. The restriction remains in place and there is no action on your side that will lift it.

Could a human member of the Railway team please review my account/workspace directly? I'd like to know specifically what policy was triggered and what, if anything, I can do to resolve it.

We understand you'd like more clarity, and we're sorry we can't provide it. We aren't able to share the specifics behind a workspace restriction, and that applies regardless of who on the team is reviewing the thread. The restriction on your workspace stands, and there is no action available to restore access to it or its data.

Following up with more detail so you have a clear path forward. The restriction was triggered specifically by a FlareSolverr deployment in your workspace. FlareSolverr is built to bypass anti-bot protections, which isn't permitted under our Terms of Service.
The service you removed earlier wasn't the one that triggered this, so the FlareSolverr service is what needs to come off, along with any other copies of it in your workspace. Once it's removed, reply here and we can restore your access. Your projects and any volume data are intact in the meantime.
Please don't redeploy FlareSolverr or similar challenge-solving tools afterward, as that will trigger the restriction again.
