To be honest, THIS was total unprofessional work, during business hours, without prior notice; shutting down services and also claming that "will automatically resume once maintenance completes", which didn't work for us...

I agree with you; I'm deeply sorry about this. It shouldn't happen but it did, and we take full responsibility for that. We'll be publishing an incident report within 24hours explaining what went on and what we're going to do to prevent these sort of failures from happening again.
