I got this message today. I'm sure I'm not doing anything illegal, so I'm not sure why my service was restricted. thanks for your help.

Your workspace is currently on the trial plan and has been restricted. You can resolve this by completing your upgrade to a paid plan (Hobby or Pro) at railway.com/workspace/plans, which will automatically lift the restriction. We aren't able to share the specific reason for the restriction.

We can confirm your workspace has been upgraded to the Hobby plan. Unfortunately, we aren't able to share the specifics of why the restriction was applied, and for paid workspaces the restriction cannot be reversed. The only path forward would be to cancel your plan and offboard from the workspace via your workspace settings.

Can you please explain exactly what you were using our services for? If we determine it to be a legitimate use-case we can lift the restriction, otherwise, the restriction will remain permanent and you would have to request a refund.

I built a mini code that get stocks media via API. this is my first time building the code so I was debugging - it was difficult getting Redis to work. maybe that is what triggered the flag. I have already requested a refund and got it, but I can come back if you think I'm not breaking any rules. kindly look into it.

It seems your service was making way too many outbound network requests (likely to the stocks media API as you mentioned) and that triggered our automated abuse systems. Please make sure that you are respecting the service's rate limits and generally being reasonable in the rate at which you make requests.
If you are detected to be abusing the platform again this will likely result in a ban. For now, I will remove your restriction.
