Can't deploy service with volume due to railway metal

I'm trying to deploy a service with a volume. I don't care if it's metal or not, but I can't deploy it either way because
1. If i have the service on metal, the volume uses non-metal

  1. If i have the service on non-metal, the volume uses metal

Once I have the volume attached the service can only use non-metal. Seems like this is just broken.

May be an edge case, but without the metal volumes FF enabled you just can't deploy services with volumes
