Try using Cloudflare instead, you can switch your nameserver over and they'll let you use CNAMEs

Hey there! We've found the following might help you get unblocked faster:
- 🧵 GoDaddy doesn’t support CNAME @ record – need alternative (A record or CNAME for www)
- 🧵 DNS A Record or CNAME record please help!
- 🧵 new domain: can't add CNAME dns record

Try configuring cloudflare, it can take care of the routing and you'll be able to set up your CNAME
