Hi,
I noticed something about deploying PR environments.
on deploying, it doesn't generate a preview url
you can see the web url is blank, most times I have to go manually generate url and push again before it shows on github. I have a team that have access to github only, so when they make PRs, they need to ask me to go generate a preview link.
is this intentional or a miss, I'd like to know of a possible way to get it handled

In the environment that you are making the preview environment from, is there a custom domain attached or a Railway generated domain attached.

I have my dev and prod environments, which have custom domains attached. no railway generated domains

I think we do require a Railway generated domain as we can't extend the custom domain for you.

what you mean is, I should also have railway generated domains on my dev and prod environments?
For me, the expectation is that railway will generate the preview link (since it is meant to be temporary), regardless whether I have a custom domain set or not

also, i'm not expecting the PR generated domain to extend my custom domain, it should extend Railway's as though one clicked "Generate Domain"

Hi there,
As Angelo called out you need a Railway-provided domain configured for your service/environment in addition to the custom domains you currently have set up. Read more in the Docs on Domains in PR Environments.
