The Hobby plan has a $5 monthly subscription fee, but Railway charges based on actual resource usage beyond that base fee. Your $44 invoice reflects the resources your applications consumed during the billing period.

Looking at your usage, the majority of the charges ($42.28) are from memory consumption. You can review your detailed usage breakdown in your workspace usage page to see which services are using the most resources.
