How to export Postgres data after the trial expired?

Hi everyone

I was running an n8n instance on Railway using Postgres + Redis during the free trial.

My trial has now expired and the project is downgraded to the Free Plan.

The services (Postgres, Redis, Worker, Primary) still exist with their volumes, but I can’t access them externally since Public Networking is not available on the free plan.

So I’m stuck: my workflows are still in the Postgres volume, but I don’t know how to export them without upgrading.

Project: robust-comfort (production)

Question:

Is there any free workaround or best practice to export my Postgres data (for example using Railway CLI, or deploying pgweb/adminer inside Railway)?

I don’t intend to run the service long-term, I just want to back up my workflows before moving to another platform.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

I'm not 100% sure if this would work on the free plan, but I remember seeing an article about accessing your private network by setting up Tailscale on Railway: https://docs.railway.com/tutorials/set-up-a-tailscale-subnet-router

It looks like once you set up the tailscale subnet router and then connect from your device, you should be able to access your services through <service_name>.railway.internal (and do what you'd normally do to export data from those services as if they were public).
