"build active (infinite loop)" on Railway, especially after the npm run build command has shown success locally and in the previous logs, points towards an issue with the application starting up rather than the compilation itself.

hi, if your build stays “active” or stuck in a loop, it’s usually a railway platform issue, not your code. sometimes the build finishes but the status doesn’t update. wait 10 to 15 minutes, or restart the deployment. if it’s still stuck, open a support ticket or check the railway status page.
