Body:
Noticed a mismatch between the deployment regions listed in the Railway docs and what’s shown in the UI when selecting a region.
Docs list:
US West Metal — California, USA — us-west2
US East Metal — North Carolina, USA — us-east4-eqdc4a
EU West Metal — Amsterdam, Netherlands — europe-west4-drams3a
Southeast Asia Metal — Singapore — asia-southeast1-eqsg3a
But the GUI shows:
US East (Virginia, USA) ←
not the same as North CarolinaUS West (California, USA)
EU West (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Southeast Asia (Singapore)
So… is US East in Virginia now, or still North Carolina as the docs say?

Look at the docs here...
https://docs.railway.com/reference/regions
In the UI I see this...
One says Virginia one says Carolina... Which is it?

Hello,
Virginia, USA is the correct location.
Thank you for catching this. We will update our docs accordingly.
Best,
Brody

What data centers do you run Railway in AWS, GCP, Azure? We want to run Neon.tech with Railway and ideally would keep it in the same data center or as close as possible. Neon supports Azure East US 2 (Virginia).

We run our own datacenters!
US East is likely your best bet - we have good interconnect with regional ISPs, so the latency to neon should be best there (considering it's the same state).
(if you're curious, here's a blog post on how we rolled out our own DCs: https://blog.railway.com/p/data-center-build-part-two)
Best,
Nico
