Title says it all. I should at most 35GB, but the usage tab says it’s over 80GB

It went back down but I don't think I should be charged for this inflation. As I said, my volumes were never actually above 35GB.

The metrics tab is not showing this - will need to see what comes up on your invoice when it's generated.

May I know why this was tagged as solved? It’s exactly my point. The metrics tab doesn’t show this, the USAGE tab does. I think I wrote that very clearly. And no, I’m not interested in seeing “what comes up” on my invoice. I want to know whether I will be charged for the wrong information under the Usage tab.

I agree, you shouldn't be charged for ANY overage that you didn't incur. To cushion against any probability that you might be charged I am going to go ahead and credit you in advance for your bill to the tune of $25.

What Rahul intended and what I need help with is to see if it's just a UI issue or an actual billing issue, if it doesn't show up in the bill, then it's just cosmetic and we can fix that. Else, we have a larger matter on our hands.

If you can follow up when you get your bill, that would help us immensely and hopefully you can sleep better knowing that we aren't aiming to overcharge you.

Thanks. It’s really not about the money in this case. I really like Railway and want to find good reasons to move to it, besides from my antiquated (but pretty stable) host. The devEx is unmatched but several issues pertaining to reliability, including this, have rocked my confidence a bit. I do appreciate this though.

How can I help? Can I give my guess? Maybe when a volume is moved (regions) it’s counted twice (in my case about thrice because I think it was moved twice) for a short period of time? It may be intentional and it may not. I really don’t mind. I just want to know that Railway knows why and mainly that it wants to know why.

I’m not concerned about that, I’m concerned about you overcharging me without even knowing about it, or caring to know about it ASAP especially when it comes to metering and billing.

This is it, we copy the disk and leave it around incase if there are issues. Then after 48 hours, we delete it, hence leading to us deleting the usage data.

You would have seen a backup within the DB indicating this was the case.
