Hi Railway team,

I’m a huge fan of Railway – not only because of how blazingly fast and simple it makes deployments, but also because of the developer-first philosophy your team embodies. After years of feeling burnt out by AWS, discovering Railway honestly felt like a dream.

I’m based in South Korea, and I’ve been actively spreading the word about Railway to the Korean developer community – especially among indie hackers and solo developers. Korea has a vibrant scene of 1-person startups and indie developers who value the kind of speed and simplicity Railway offers. Many of them are ready to adopt Railway, and some already have.

However, the absence of a Korea region has become a growing pain point. While we currently use the Singapore region as a workaround, latency is still noticeably slow, especially when serving Korean users. It’s hard to tell users “our backend is fast,” when network speed is noticeably affected by distance. It’s frustrating and honestly disheartening when Korean users face slow service speeds — not due to Railway itself, but simply because there’s no nearby region. I feel sorry to them for not being able to deliver the fast experience they deserve.

Adding a Korea region would unlock immense potential here. Railway would be the perfect fit for so many small and medium teams who want to focus on building – not managing infrastructure.

If there’s any way I can help make this happen – whether it’s spreading awareness, helping with demand research, or connecting with local communities – I’d love to contribute. I’m genuinely cheering for Railway’s continued growth and hope to see it become even more accessible worldwide.
