I’ve purchased my domain from Namecheap and successfully configured the DNS settings. However, the SSL certificate isn’t active or working properly.

Your SSL certificate is working as intended. Whatever you're seeing is simply a caching issue, and will resolve itself soon. Please see if it works on mobile data!
