Unable to add/update environment variables - UI stuck on "Applying 1 change"

I'm unable to add or update environment variables on my services. When I try to add a variable, the UI shows "Applying 1 change" indefinitely and never completes.

Details:

  • Project: zestful-consideration
  • Environment: production
  • Affected services: (backend), Front (frontend)
  • Tried: Refreshing page, waiting several minutes

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to service → Variables tab
  2. Click "Add Variable"
  3. Enter variable name and value
  4. UI shows "Applying 1 change" and gets stuck

Expected: Variable should be saved and service should redeploy

Workaround needed: I need to set CORS_ORIGINS variable on my backend service to connect my frontend.

Solved

A solution has been implemented and the Staging Changes (Applying Changes) feature should recover in a few moments.
