Urgent: Unable to connect to production database via SSH (critical data)

Hello Railway Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.
I’m experiencing a critical issue with my production PostgreSQL database. Suddenly, I can no longer connect via SSH — Railway shows the message:

“We are unable to connect to the database via SSH.”

This database contains valuable production data, and at the moment I am completely unable to access it through the dashboard or via remote tools.

Details

  • Project:(add your project name/id here)

  • Service: PostgreSQL

  • Environment: Production

  • Issue started:(add approximate time)

  • No changes were made to configuration before the issue occurred.

What I’ve observed

  • Other services in the project appear normal.

  • The database logs show it is running, but the Railway UI cannot establish the SSH tunnel.

  • I cannot access tables or open the database explorer.

  • I urgently need to extract/export some data, but I’m blocked.

Request

Could you please investigate this as soon as possible?
I need to know whether this is a platform-side issue and whether my data is safe.
If possible, please provide a way to temporarily access the database or dump the data.

This is extremely urgent, as the database is used in production.
