Hello Railway Support Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I’m experiencing a critical issue with my production PostgreSQL database. Suddenly, I can no longer connect via SSH — Railway shows the message:
“We are unable to connect to the database via SSH.”
This database contains valuable production data, and at the moment I am completely unable to access it through the dashboard or via remote tools.
Details
Project:(add your project name/id here)
Service: PostgreSQL
Environment: Production
Issue started:(add approximate time)
No changes were made to configuration before the issue occurred.
What I’ve observed
Other services in the project appear normal.
The database logs show it is running, but the Railway UI cannot establish the SSH tunnel.
I cannot access tables or open the database explorer.
I urgently need to extract/export some data, but I’m blocked.
Request
Could you please investigate this as soon as possible?
I need to know whether this is a platform-side issue and whether my data is safe.
If possible, please provide a way to temporarily access the database or dump the data.
This is extremely urgent, as the database is used in production.
Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards,

Hey there! We've found the following might help you get unblocked faster:
🧵 [CRITICAL] PostgreSQL volume has a 250GB disk shortage - so service can't star
🧵 Urgent: Unable to connect to production database via SSH (critical data)
If you find the answer from one of these, please let us know by solving the thread!
