web service is failing to deploy due to an issue with the build and start commands

  • "My repository is a monorepo with the backend code located in a /backend directory."

  • "The Build Command and Start Command fields are pre-filled with backend/ $ , and this portion is uneditable. This prevents me from typing the correct commands needed for my service to run."

  • "I have tried deleting the service and creating a brand new one, but the issue persists. The backend/ $ prefix appears on the new service as well."

"Could you please assist me in getting this fixed? I have attached a screenshot showing the uneditable field. Thank you."

Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, these suggestions do not solve my issue.

The core problem is that the 'Build Command' and 'Start Command' fields are pre-filled with backend/ $ and this part is uneditable. This prevents me from entering the correct commands, which is why the deployment fails. I have already tried creating a brand new service, but the bug persists.

Could you please have a human from the support team look at this? The issue seems to be a UI bug on your end.
