Hi Railway Support Team,

I’m currently running a Laravel backend and a React frontend (using Vite) on Railway. I would like to connect the frontend to the backend using Railway’s private network, instead of the public URLs.

Could you please provide guidance on:

  1. How to configure the backend URL for the frontend to use the private .railway.internal hostname and port.
  2. Any required settings in Railway to allow the frontend to communicate with the backend internally.
  3. Best practices for handling local development vs. deployment using the private network.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Agustin

Apologies but this looks like an issue with the application level code. Due to volume, we can only answer platform level issues.

I've made this thread public so that the community might be able to help with you query.
