Am a new railway hobby plan user i was wonderin if i can incrase my 500 mb database volumne without extra charges or havin to transfer stuff. how would i do that? and how much can i increase it ?

As you are on the Hobby plan, you are eligible for 5GB volume (that 500MB was a free-tier limitation).

You can increase the volume size that is attached to the deployed DB
