Outbound SMTP not working despite Pro plan upgrade

Hello Railway Team,

I am currently experiencing issues with outbound SMTP connections on my Railway project.

I have already reviewed the documentation about outbound networking and SMTP restrictions. I also upgraded my account and I am not on the Free, Trial, or Hobby plan anymore. However, even after the upgrade, outbound SMTP is still not working.

Could you please confirm:

  1. If outbound SMTP should be fully enabled on the Pro plan.

  2. If there are additional steps or configuration required on my project/region.

  3. Whether you recommend relying only on HTTPS-based email APIs (e.g. SendGrid, Postmark) instead of SMTP for long-term use.

Hello,

Outbound SMTP is only available on the Pro plan and above, while Free, Trial, and Hobby plans have SMTP disabled.

For sending emails from your application, please use a dedicated email service that provides HTTPS APIs. More information can be found in our documentation:
