Please elaborate on the "first time", how it is failing and what kind of response you are getting?

when you go to danielmateu.es or www.danielmateu.es and no one has accessed it for a while, it won’t let you in — it just keeps loading forever without showing an error or actually loading the site. but once you try to open it again, it works.

Hey, this server error 500 is not returned by Railway but rather by your own service. The issue seems to be somewhere in your code, perhaps you can check your logs? Furthermore, you would want to check your dependencies that may take too long to respond (as they themselves may be serverless and have cold starts).
