Services Running but App Unreachable – Database Connection Failing (Recurring Issue)

Hi Railway team,

I’m experiencing a recurring issue with my project, Vector. All my services currently show as running/deployed in the dashboard, but:

  • The application page is not reachable most of the time.

  • When it does briefly load, the Django service cannot connect to the MySQL database.

  • MySQL service logs earlier showed the volume repeatedly mounting and failing to complete startup.

  • This is the second time this issue has happened, and I haven’t changed any configuration on my end.

  • The service was running perfectly fine just a short while ago, and then suddenly went offline.

Could you please check if there’s a database volume or network issue causing this downtime, and help restore stability?

Additionally, I’d appreciate your guidance on a long-term fix. Since this is the second occurrence, it would be great to know if there are recommended best practices, configuration changes, or even migration options on Railway that would prevent this from happening again.
