The free trial plan gives 5$ for 1 month, will it be renewed again next month? another 30 days and 5$ again? or would I have to pay to keep using the service?

Hey, the trial is one month only and can't be extended. However, Railway does offer a free plan, which includes $1 of usage every month and is serverless only. It is best to upgrade to the hobby or pro plan if you require more than $1 of usage every month.
