Once again, I have not received any reply regarding this issue. This lack of communication is unacceptable.

I am formally requesting a clear and detailed explanation of the charge applied. According to your own metrics on the last day of the billing period, the total should have been 25, not 29. There was no unusual usage on my side, and I should be able to verify that — yet, conveniently, the usage data for that period is no longer accessible.

Please provide:

  1. A detailed breakdown of my usage for the billing period in question.

  2. An explanation of why the charge exceeded the amount shown in your own system at the end of the period.

  3. Confirmation of any corrective actions or refund if an error occurred.

I expect a concrete and documented response within the next few days. Ignoring the matter is not acceptable.

Hi,

This is entirely dependent on what you have deployed. I recommend checking out your resource usage under https://railway.app/account/usage and looking at projects consuming high resources, and troubleshoot why it's doing so.

Unfortunately, we can't assist you further with figuring out why your bill is higher than normal - it's out of our control, and akin to asking a utilities company "why is my water bill high". We only know how much resources you consume, we don't know why.

If you'd like to control your spending on Railway, I highly suggest enabling Usage Limits (https://docs.railway.app/reference/usage-limits).

Thank you for your reply. However, I still don’t have access to the actual consumption data for the billing period in question.
Without this information, it’s impossible for me to verify or understand the reason behind the higher charge.

You mentioned that the billing depends on my usage — yet the only available data before the end of the cycle showed a total of 25, not 29, and there was no abnormal activity on my side. Since you are the ones tracking resource usage, I am requesting that you share the detailed usage metrics for that specific billing period (per project or resource type).

Please provide:

  1. The precise resource consumption data that led to the final charge of 29.

  2. A breakdown of which projects or services contributed to that total.

I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter so we can resolve it transparently.
